Lantern Fest 2026 launched with update v39.50 to celebrate the Middle East and North Africa community through limited-time quests and special rewards. The event runs from February 19 to February 25, 2026, and introduces an exclusive 8-player team mode in Reload, allowing traditional four-player squads to expand up to eight players for larger, more chaotic battles.
Players can complete Lantern Fest quests by eliminating 45 opponents, dealing 450 damage using SMGs or pistols, dealing 500 damage with assault rifles or shotguns, emoting near a teammate twice, and landing at named locations across five different matches. Each completed quest rewards 10,000 XP.
