Solo Leveling Collaboration
The most anticipated arrival in v39.50 is the Solo Leveling crossover, bringing the Shadow Monarch and his hunters to Fortnite . Available from February 20 to March 2, 2026, this collaboration features character outfits, back blings, pickaxes, and gliders inspired by the hit webtoon and anime .

Lantern Fest 2026 & Reload Updates
Lantern Fest 2026 launched with update v39.50 to celebrate the Middle East and North Africa community through limited-time quests and special rewards. The event runs from February 19 to February 25, 2026, and introduces an exclusive 8-player team mode in Reload, allowing traditional four-player squads to expand up to eight players for larger, more chaotic battles.
Players can complete Lantern Fest quests by eliminating 45 opponents, dealing 450 damage using SMGs or pistols, dealing 500 damage with assault rifles or shotguns, emoting near a teammate twice, and landing at named locations across five different matches. Each completed quest rewards 10,000 XP.
The Lantern Fest Cup will be held on March 3, 2026, offering players a chance to earn the Aaliyah skin for free.
Reload Rank Reset
All ranks in Reload mode have been reset with v39.50. This Reload Ranked season lasts until August 18, 2026 . Players must play one placement match in both Build and Zero Build Reload to reveal their new rank, which is based on previous performance .
New Epic accounts must outlast 500 opponents before entering Ranked Reload .
